2010-01-04 08:58:44 Dodged A Bullet !! This a message from a friend of mine: 'My little granddaughter is home from the hospital. We really dodged a bullet this time! With a skull fracture, clavicle fracture, broken ribs, collapsed lungs and CHI, she is still Rachel! Quite a tough week; however, we can all now relax and worry about her being an 11 year old! She will not get on an atv till she is about, oh 40!'
I can only imagine the nightmare this has been in this family's life. The message doesn't mention whether or not the granddaughter was wearing a helmet but, better yet, no more ATVing for my children or grandchildren.
